Eileen Christie, RMT

​

Being a full time RMT for 14 years, Eileen has gained an immense amount of knowledge and experience from her time in rehabilitation and multidisciplinary clinics, gym and spa settings and mobile corporate on-site outreaches. 

 Her treatments are intuitive and intentional to treat the source of your pain or discomfort as well as your symptoms.  Her goal is to provide therapeutic and maintenance treatments while continuing to ensure ease and comfort throughout your session.  Her belief is that treatments can be both therapeutic and relaxing at the same time.

Throughout her treatments Eileen will incorporate Swedish massage techniques, trigger point and deep tissue therapy, advanced cupping therapy, myofascial release as well as prenatal / postpartum care, post-surgical support, lumbar and pelvic fascial release and Indie Head treatments.

Sophie Day (Zanchetta), RMT

 

As an active participant in her own self-care journey, Sophie first realized the positive effects of movement, strengthening and stretch on the body through her own yoga practice in 2015 which led her to pursue her yoga instructor certification. She then went on to further her knowledge of the power of the body by completing her Massage Therapy degree to graduate, with honours, in 2020 from Medix College of Healthcare.

 

Sophie‘s main focus is to work with you to customize a balanced and smooth treatment with your goals in mind.  Her keen interest and connection to energy work along with her skills in Swedish Massage techniques, myofascial and trigger point therapy, Cupping massage, Hot Stone therapy and Indie Head massage will help give your body the gentle push it needs towards a more settled and peaceful state in which to allow self-healing to take place.

Sara Malison, B.Sc, RMT

CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE

As a former competitive athlete and a mom, Sara has an innate understanding of how important it is that your body be able to move at peak performance both on the field and for whatever life throws at you.  Her passion for anatomy and biomechanics led her to complete her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph in Biology and continue to pursue her Massage Therapy degree and graduate with honours from the College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2018.

Sara’s treatments are focused yet fluid as she incorporates a variety of Swedish Massage techniques, superficial and deep tissue release, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, stretching and Cupping therapy to personalize your treatment to your unique needs, even from session to session.  One of her main goals is to provide you with a comfortable and relaxing environment in which to help you maintain your performance, prevent injuries, and integrate practices that allow your body the space to heal.

Christine Thorne,RMT

As an international level powerlifter and competitive horseback rider with a love for travel and exploration, Christine knows the importance of balance.  After graduating with honours from Mohawk College’s Massage Therapy program in 2018, she has taken a special interest in treating low back pain, overuse, sports and occupational injuries as well as post-surgical rehab.  As the primary therapist for several Team Canada Powerlifting athletes Christine is especially interested in working with athletes to help them reach their performance goals and overcome injuries.

 

Christine specializes in deep tissue therapeutic massage, trigger point therapy and myofascial release.  She has a versatile technique and pressure range along with extensive exercise knowledge, to tailor your treatment and home care plans to help achieve your unique goals.  She has dedicated herself to lifelong learning and has taken additional courses in sacroiliac mobilizations, shoulder and low back dysfunction.
